The history of Ethiopian Vibration is linked to the experience of its founder Stefano Di Guida. Inspired by his love for Africa, its culture and humanity, but above all motivated by the faith in His Imperial Majesty Haile Sellassie I, in the winter of 2004 Stefano travelled to Ethiopia with the intent to establish and cultivate cooperative relations with Ethiopian brothers.
The mission had a positive outcome, especially thanks to the foundation of the import-export company “Meseret Baal” (Roots and Culture) based in Addis Ababa in association with Gebeyheu Abebe, who has immediately become our first partner there.
During that journey foundations were also established for the cooperation with the company of Ras Ibi and sis.Elsa “Jah Tree of Life”.
In the course of the second journey to Ethiopia (Autumn 2006), Ethiopian Vibration Cultural Store was almost ready to start-up.
As well, during this second trip our efforts were achieved with much success, allowing for the institution of a working link with Mr. Wendemu in Addis Ababa, who with his group of craftsmen, produce furniture with bamboo and other like materials. Moreover, it was possible to plan and implement several other projects together with other brothers working in a variety of activities, like painting, music, carpentry, and handicraft.
All of these projects have a social purpose since they offer disadvantaged persons the opportunity to receive job training and to be paid fairly for the work that they do, therefore favouring their moral self-determination.
Ethiopian Vibration doesn’t only want to promote but also contribute to the development and the stability of all of these legitimate projects, however to fully carry this out your support will be necessary.
